Cultural Festival

Butterflies in my stomach, just moments before we go on stage to perform at the CBS Arena 1212 Cultural Festival.There were a lot f kids that had butterflies in their stomach.Taleah,Hannha and I were more nervous then any one else in our group.We had to start Ka pioioi, it was ok though,we did awesome.Then we went on yo Reach,the poi wasn't that good,we mucked up a few times besides that it was good.After we had finished,we went back to our seats ,then the other schools sang.Finally the whole arena did a wave about three times.

Statistical inveestigation

Our groups statistical investigation was...
 I wonder if boys can rum faster then girls in a 43 cm race ?
The type of graph that I created was a strip graph down the bottom.
The results show that boys are faster then girls.The score was 5 to the boys and 3 to the girls.

Speech Reflection

• My speech was well written and good pace and fluency.

The class wished next time I would...

• speak louder more eye contact try standing tall and content in your own words.

 Next time I deliver a speech I will learn to say my words right and make sure my speech makes sense. 

Mask

I made some changes because I tried to make all the colours to match the paint when its in the light the gold will shine and sparkle I changed the colours of the feathers to I also changed the colour of the streamers to.

The hardest part of the mask was the painting and the streamers  the easy part was the feathers and the glue under the eyes.

The colours i chose represent  the night and the stars.


My mask is suitable for celebrating 30 years at the cultural festival because it represent the night and the stars.

For my bird i did a duck the easy bit was the drawing we all had to sketch one i was the only one that did a duck it was kinda hard the first shade i did was a nice light shade the next stage of coulor was a bit hard you had to do it hard my one did not work the coulor did not blend in with the other coulors i could of took more time and did the coulors better the last step was to die it i did the back ground green and the duck yellow and that was the last step that we had to do.
